Experience

Meet the chefs

Filipino brothers Mark and Mike form ‘The ‘Adobros’, a playful take on the Philippine’s national dish, the Adobo, and the fact they are 2 bros who grew up tucking into good Filipino food. Their recipes came from their mother who posted them to England after her sons found boarding school meals had nothing on her home cooking. These family recipes are all based on taste rather than exact measurements, like all Filipino fare. This means each dish is different to the next, yet one thing remains the same: you’ll dive into their awesome cooking and be desperate for more.  One half of the Adobros, Mike, has recently relocated away from London therefore Mark is now going it alone with the help of his lovely girlfriend to keep the Filippino feasting alive.

The Menu

Your Filipino host for the evening will be cooking up an exciting menu of authentic Filipino dishes to delight your tastebuds. Using recipes passed down through generations and ingredients sourced from his beautiful country, expect to sample dishes such as Adobo, Lechon Porchetta and Buko Pie. Mark prides himself on creating the ‘best’ version of the fragrant Adobo dish that he spent his childhood perfecting alongside his parents and grandparents. The authenticity doesn’t end there, come rain or shine, you will find Mark out in the garden using the BBQ grill to recreate that unique smoky flavour from the hot coals. After all this sizzling goodness, dessert is inspired by the fresh and vibrant tropical fruits of this island paradise – prepare for plenty of vivid colours and some extra surprises along the way!
