Lauren Murrell is the co-founder of skincare By Sarah, with her sister Sarah. Diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia aged 23, Lauren experienced extreme isolation during her treatment, with only a 20% chance of survival. Her sister Sarah saved Lauren's life with a stem cell transplant.

Beating the odds, Lauren returned to law school and qualified as a lawyer. Her wanderlust took her from London to New York and the Caribbean – before Hurricane Irma battered the island she was living on, which swiftly brought her back to the UK.
